creepy waiters/dessert

Why do waiters have to be so creepy about dessert? I'm sitting at the table, the meal's over. Suddenly, the waiter slides by and says, in this sex offender voice, "Hmm are we going to have any room for dessert today???" Ugh. No. Maybe if you weren't touching your privates when you asked me. Honestly I just want to get out of this place as soon as possible.
