So what is a bro hug. It involves two males. You know what shaking hands is? It's like that, but while shaking hands one male pulls the other male close to his body so as to hug him with his free arm. Typically once one male starts a bro hug, the other male is receptive. Then both males are engaged in a position where they are essentially shaking hands and hugging at the same time.
They can happen in three different situations:
1. The males have just met (not for the first time. met like they just ran into each other at a bar but they already know each other).
2. The males are about to depart from one another (later bro).
3. One or both of the males got so exited during a conversation that a bro hug weirdly just happened ("You were at that game too? No way!")
